SUN SHINES FOR LOCAL CHARITY
Riders were lucky to have a break from the heavy downpours of recent weeks and pushed hard to complete a 50 mile cycle ride as organised by local building contractor, Speller Metcalfe.
The route took cyclists from the start at Colwall Village Hall, through to Bromyard, Worcester, Hanley Castle, Malvern and back into Colwall to reach the finish line.
Noel Chambers, Client Care Manager for Speller Metcalfe and organiser of the event, said: “It was a great event with good support from the local area to raise awareness for a very important charity. I’d also like to thank Rainbow Safety Signs who donated the route signs for the event, without which it would have been a lot more difficult!”
