Speller Metcalfe is delighted to have been shortlisted in four categories at the Constructing Excellence West Midlands Awards 2020.
The prestigious awards looks to celebrate exceptional construction projects in the West Midlands, across areas such as social value, collaboration and sustainability. Winners at the regional ceremony on 3rd April will go forward to the Constructing Excellence Grand Finals in London later this year.
Speller Metcalfe projects which have made the shortlist this year are:
- Beatrice Shilling Building for Coventry University – Building Project of the Year Award and the Value Award;
- Sister Dora Skills & Simulation Suite for University of Wolverhampton – Integration and Collaborative Working Award;
- Tanworth Court Care Home – Sustainability Award and the Value Award.
“Being recognised at the Constructing Excellence West Midlands awards is always a fantastic achievement for us, especially when up against so many other superb projects from across the region,” said Speller Metcalfe pre-construction director, James Speller.
The West Midlands continues to be a key focus in our business operations and we are delighted to be able to represent the very best of the construction industry in our region. I am very proud of each of our shortlisted project teams’ achievements in getting to this point and we are all looking forward to the awards ceremony next month.”
These latest shortlistings add to an impressive portfolio of nominated and award-winning projects for Speller Metcalfe in the 2020 awards season, which so far includes recognition for three schemes at the Insider South West Property Awards last month.
