Speller Metcalfe was appointed by repeat client, Knightstone Housing Association to undertake the £3.9M design and construction of 35 new homes in Bristol.
In addition to the construction of 28 houses and 9 flats, a new road was also laid into the development. Each of the dwellings has been designed to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. The scheme offers a mixture of social rent, affordable rent and shared ownership sales.
Throughout the project Speller Metcalfe worked closely with the community to minimise disruption to local area. A number of initiatives were organised to engage local residents with the scheme including inviting children from Knowle Park Primary School to paint the hoarding around the site with a graffiti mural.
