Adrian, who has worked at Speller Metcalfe since leaving University 10 years ago, heads up our Ecobuild division which has grown from strength to strength, with Speller Metcalfe regularly targeting UK first's within sustainability.

Notable achievements include the UK's highest scoring BREEAM Outstanding project in 2014 for Western Power Distribution, Spilsby, which scored an unprecedented 101.9% post-completion.

Speller Metcalfe was also responsible for building the UK's first Passivhaus and Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 combined scheme, England's first ever Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 property and most recently won our first Gold at the Considerate Constructors Scheme for the £24m Habberley Learning Campus in Kidderminster.

The Ecobuild team is also working at the forefront of Building Information Modelling, working to Level 2 since 2012, and are currently on their 12th BIM project at Warwick Hospital.

From the judging panel: "This award looks to recognise a young achiever in our industry. The judges are looking for the person that has best demonstrated a positive impact against the current G4C (Generation for Change) priority areas of people, sustainability and asset outcomes."
