TOP MARKS FOR MASTER’S HOUSE

To achieve the ‘Exceptionally Considerate’ score, Speller Metcalfe has implemented a range of measures; letter and open day updates for residents and businesses, helping out local charities including Ledbury based Salter’s Hill, and over 70 per cent of sustainable materials and labour being sourced within 30 miles of site – boosting the local economy and reducing carbon emissions.

Environmental activities have included rainwater harvesting and shared power usage to reduce energy consumption and timber off-cuts even donated to local neighbours.

The fantastic score places Speller Metcalfe in the top 10 per cent of contractor’s in the country and the Master’s House project will now be reviewed for the Considerate Constructors National Site Awards.
