Over one hundred gifts donated to Property for Kids this Christmas

Midlands-based building contractor Speller Metcalfe has teamed up with local charity Property for Kids to donate gifts to disadvantaged children across the West Midlands this Christmas.

Speller Metcalfe invited all guests to their annual Christmas drinks evening last week to bring along a present up to the value of £10 for a child who may otherwise go without on Christmas Day.

A van full of gifts donated by construction industry professionals has now been distributed to Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid who support women and children affected by domestic violence. The Christmas tree from the event was also donated to the Women’s Aid offices.

Speller Metcalfe group managing director, Des O’Neill said: “We had an absolutely fantastic response to our Christmas gift drive this year.

“At Speller Metcalfe it is very important for us to be able to give back to the communities that we work in, and we hope that by supporting Property for Kids this festive season we can make a real difference to families and children in need.

“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests and would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of our clients who contributed such kind gifts.”
