SPELLER METCALFE APPOINTED TO £45M UNIVERSITY FRAMEWORK

With the recent completion of a 7-year building programme and £100m investment, the University of Wolverhampton has recently agreed a further £45 million to advance its facilities even more.

The £45 million framework will cover building works to the University and its entities, creating some of the most modern facilities in UK higher education.

Speller Metcalfe has landed lot 3 which covers the largest value projects worth £100k plus and will be competitively tendered for against three other contractors.

“We are delighted to receive the appointment and be given the opportunity to work with the University of Wolverhampton for the first time,” said Des O’Neill, group managing director at Speller Metcalfe.

“Being awarded the highest value lot is significant for us as it demonstrates our ability to deliver large complex projects.”

“We have established a very good reputation with our delivery of frameworks, notably with the recent West Midlands Contractor Framework, where we ranked as the top KPI-scoring contractor throughout its duration.”
