SPELLER METCALFE HOSTS SEPTMBER CPD EVENT
The event, running on the morning of the 24th September covers three industry hot topics; construction fraud, the new procurement rules and lean construction.
The Knowledge Series invites professionals from across the construction industry to collaborate and share best practice, with external speakers delivering presentations on different industry issues.
Past presentations have covered the new CDM regulations, Construction 2025 and The Social Value Act.
“The past two events have been a great success by raising awareness for industry issues, generating discussion and enabling the sharing of knowledge between colleagues and partners,” said Steve Speller, Joint Group Managing Director for Speller Metcalfe.
“The September event will cover prevalent issues affecting the construction industry including construction fraud, which Speller Metcalfe has been a witness to in the last year. We feel strongly that organisations should be sharing expertise where possible to safeguard their businesses.”
September’s speakers include Stephen Belshaw from Shoosmiths LLP, Mark Robinson from Trowers & Hamlins LLP and Richard O’Connor from Transform Business Improvement.
The event will be held at Birmingham City Council and will include a light breakfast and networking.
