Droitwich Leisure Centre Redevelopment

Speller Metcalfe was appointed by Alliance Leisure to deliver the £12.7 million redevelopment and extension of Droitwich Spa Leisure Centre on behalf of Wychavon District Council. The project revitalised the existing centre through a programme of refurbishment and modernisation works, while simultaneously expanding its leisure provision with the addition of a new learner pool and associated facilities.

The redevelopment included upgrades to changing facilities, treatment rooms and building services, alongside the construction of a new extension incorporating a dedicated learner pool, reception, café and changing areas. Designed to enhance the visitor experience and support increased community participation, the completed scheme provides modern, accessible and sustainable facilities for residents across the district.
