An existing office block on the Banbury site was demolished prior to Speller Metcalfe constructing a new steel frame, two storey mezzanine office block within the existing warehouse grounds to the east elevation.
As part of the contract, the warehouse was stripped out and remodelled to improve facilities. This included the replacement of roof lights to brighten the space, new offices, production and test rooms and bespoke M&E installations to maintain temperature and humidity levels.
The warehouse also incorporates a specialist laboratory for testing precision engineering equipment to anti-vibration, airtight and thermally efficient requirements.
