Speller Metcalfe has begun construction on the £20 million redevelopment of Malvern Theatres, appointed by Malvern Hills District Council to deliver a significant upgrade to one of Worcestershire’s most valued cultural venues.
The works include a new 240-seat studio theatre, improvements to the existing Forum Theatre, new workshop spaces, and a small community amphitheatre, helping to support a wider programme of performance, learning, and community activity.
Externally, the redevelopment features an upgraded park-side entrance, improving access and connectivity with the surrounding area while creating a more welcoming approach to the venue.
Delivered in partnership with Malvern Hills District Council and designed by Burrell Foley Fischer, opening is scheduled for late 2027.
