A CAREER IN CONSTRUCTION
The event was attended by Worcestershire Connexions advisors who met with some of Speller Metcalfe’s building team to exchange views on the current employment situation and to gain a real understanding of what it is like to pursue a trade apprenticeship in Carpentry or Bricklaying or to follow a career in Site Management or Quantity Surveying.
Rob Lett of Lett & Sweetland Architects in Worcester and Richard Hartshorne of Shire Consulting Engineers were also present at the event who gave advisors a flavor of what their professions can offer young school leavers.
