Speller Metcalfe wins places on new £30bn government construction framework
Regional contractor Speller Metcalfe has been named as a supplier on the Government’s new Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Construction Works and Associated Services framework.
The massive new procurement agreement is the Government’s first cross-public sector framework and is available to all public sector organisations to find companies to build schools, hospitals, offices, houses, universities, prisons and more. A total of £30BN of work is expected to be delivered through the framework over a seven year period.
The framework is made up of 11 lots broken down into 38 regional sub-lots and includes general construction works, civil engineering, residential, high-rise accommodation, airside and maritime works. Speller Metcalfe has been named on three lots which will cover general construction and residential works valued from £3m-30m.*

Moving into 2020 Speller Metcalfe continue to focus on long-term frameworks as part of their key business strategy and their spots on the CCS framework complement recent appointments to the Bromford Construction Partnership, Pagabo Medium Works framework and the universities of Worcester, Warwick and Oxford construction frameworks.
The CWAS Framework lots awarded to Speller Metcalfe are:
- Lot 2.1- North England (Construction Works £3m-£10m)
- Lot 3.2 – South England (Constructions Works £10m-£30m)
- Lot 6.1 – North England (Residential Works)
- Lot 6.2 – South England (Residential Works)
