SPELLER METCALFE WINS BMW INVESTMENT

Speaking to the BBC, BMW said the investment showed its commitment to Britain “as a vital manufacturing base,” developing projects in Birmingham, Swindon and lastly Oxfordshire, where Speller Metcalfe has been contracted.

It comes on top of a series of contracts that the Group has won over recent months, suggesting that while the fiscal situation for many remains tough, Speller Metcalfe continues to procure work within a range of sectors and services.

Tony Shaw, Managing Director for Speller Metcalfe’s Midlands region, said: “While the construction industry was pigeon-holed for bringing the UK back into recession, it’s clear to see that well-known organisations still value our high quality of service and commitment over other international competitors.

“We hope that other organisations and companies will follow suit and invest in other opportunities both regionally and nationally as we certainly have the skills and experience to meet these demands.”

Speller Metcalfe are well-recognised in the region as one of the largest privately-owned building contractors in Herefordshire and Worcestershire and has grown into the automotive and industrial sectors in accordance with our success, procuring other work with clients such as Bugatti, Western Power Distribution and Arnold Clark.
