KNOWLEDGE SERIES EXPANDS TO BRISTOL

The April event took place in the centre of Bristol at the Watershed, and was well attended by over 90 delegates from across the region.

Presentations were delivered by three industry-leading external speakers. Stephen Beggs, Technical Director for Curtins, discussed the regeneration of buildings in Bristol.

With the government’s Accelerated Construction Scheme announced in October 2016, Ian Knight, Head of Accelerated Delivery for the South West talked through the potential solutions that the scheme could bring to resolve the housing issues identified in the Housing White Paper.

Finally George Flower, GeoEnvironmental Specialist and Technical Advisor of Arcadis, shared practical advice on how to manage waste correctly.

“Following a high demand after the success of our 2015 and 2016 series in Birmingham, we decided to expand the CPD events to the South West,” said Andy Metcalfe, Joint Owner at Speller Metcalfe. “For Speller Metcalfe sharing best practice with our project colleagues has always been our priority.”

Speller Metcalfe will be delivering its second Birmingham CPD event for 2017 on 29th June.
