CARPENTER JOSH VIRGO WINS APPRENTICESHIP AWARD
Josh successfully beat off many rivals in the nomination rounds, before securing his success on the night.
Andy Metcalfe, Joint Managing Director for Speller Metcalfe, said: “Joshua is an excellent example of all that a good apprentice should aspire to be and is a fantastic role model to promote the construction industry and training available in Gloucestershire. Even in times of financial difficulty, it is important that we support the new talent coming through – they will be the future.
“As for his win, I couldn't imagine anybody more fitting or worthy of the title of 'Construction Apprentice of the Year'.”
The fantastic night showcased and recognised the strength of the apprentice community in Gloucestershire, with guest of honour the Princess Royal handing out the awards on the night.
