Speller Metcalfe was contracted by client Arnold Clark to modify an existing body shop at their Carlisle showroom to provide a new parts distribution facility.

The extension was constructed using a portal steel frame, with a first floor mezzanine incorporated into the project.

Other works include sub-structure brickwork, roof cladding, M&E and drainage works, as well as fit-out of the site including plumbing and sanitary ware, decoration, furniture, fixtures and fittings.

Owing to the successful completion of the original project the works were expanded to include toilet refurbishment works to the existing Ford Car showroom and strip out of works of an office installation on another site.
