Speller Metcalfe worked with Urban Splash and Places for People on the delivery of the exciting new canalside neighbourhood in Ladywood, Birmingham.

Built alongside the Birmingham Old Line and Birmingham Main Line canals, the 43-acre site will feature a total of 1150 homes once complete, alongside a range of commercial and green spaces and shops and the recently-opened Ladywood Leisure Centre.

Speller Metcalfe was responsible for delivery of Phase 1b – 37 traditionally-built mews houses – known as Brick House – which have been designed by Glenn Howells Architects. The properties are a mix of three and four-bedroomed townhouses, each with two parking spaces and built across four terraces with a large, shared green space at its centre.
