Speller Metcalfe was contracted to build an extension to an existing Polytec factory in Bromyard, which is responsible for the manufacture of car bumpers for numerous clients including Jaguar Land Rover.
The Polytec Group is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-quality plastic parts, with 26 sites and over 4500 employees worldwide.
The company is a full-service provider in the field of injection molding, as a specialist in fibre-reinforced plastics, as a manufacturer of original accessory parts made of plastic and stainless steel, and as a leading developer of customized industrial solutions using polyurethane, along with the machinery and plant required for this purpose.
The extension was constructed of a traditional steel frame, with composite cladding to provide additional floor space for quality checks and interrogation of the bumpers before leaving the factor.
