The Valley of Evesham offers a shopping village delivering brand names, cafes and restaurants, as well as Evesham Garden Centre – all located within 125 acres of rural Worcestershire countryside.
The site has expanded to deliver three new retail units and the Chris Boardman Performance Centre – a ‘revolutionary’ new cycling centre, equipped with both wind tunnel, physiology testing site, a cafe and Boardman Bikes’ head office. Speller Metcalfe was contracted to deliver the scheme which includes:
- New car park with approx. 300 additional spaces
- New access road which cuts through the existing car park
- Design & construction of new, steel structure, single storey retail units
- Design & Construction of a new, 10,000 sq m, two storey building Chris Boardman Performance Centre
- Soft landscaping and planting
The scheme was completed on time, with the Regatta store handed over 3 weeks earlier than programmed to meet the Easter holiday trade.
