Speller Metcalfe is beginning the enabling works followed by the refurbishment of the existing internal spaced to form a temporary resus, entrance and assessment rooms Following this, the main works will include partial new build, partial refurbishment of the new resus department.
The single-storey project has been designed by AFL Architects on behalf of Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust.
Speller Metcalfe will be completing the fit out of the scheme, getting it ready for clinical use, as well as the external car parking works.
The scheme has been designed to meet BREEAM excellent sustainability standards and is due to complete in July 2025.
