Speller Metcalfe provides financial grants and trade vouchers (partnering with Travis Perkins) in recognition of the difficult financial challenges employing an apprentice can have for small businesses. We work alongside the Heart of Worcestershire College to identify apprentices who will qualify for support, which is currently offered to students across painting, decorating, bricklaying and carpentry.

With the current industry skills gap, Speller Metcalfe aims to help more apprentices into construction, and by working together with the Heart of Worcestershire College we want to increase the number of apprenticeship opportunities available locally, develop a highly skilled workforce, improve employer / apprenticeship links and boost job opportunities in Worcestershire.
