Speller Metcalfe successfully completed the £15.2m Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Institute of Technology (IoT) for Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) in Summer 2025. Built on the site of the College’s former construction and skills provision at Palmbourne Industrial Estate, Stafford, the three-storey, steel-framed facility includes workshops, teaching spaces, a lecture theatre, and a café/kitchen.
The IoT brings together industry, education and research to widen participation in targeted STEM areas, offering advanced manufacturing and engineering qualifications. Through collaboration between educators and employers, the centre is set to expand technical education and training opportunities aligned with regional and national skills priorities.
