Speller Metcalfe was contacted to complete the alterations and refurbishment to the club house and changing rooms buildings at Norton Cricket Club, Worcester.
The £1.3M project included the refurbishment of both the single-storey buildings. The external buildings are grade II listed and the external façade remained unaffected by the works. The club house covers 350m2 and the changing rooms 150m2.
The scope of the project included creating new external terraces to the front and rear of the changing room building, along with the partial demolition and site clearance, as well as all associated external works. In addition to this, the construction works will incorporate a new multi-use games area (MUGA), new car parking area and underground drainage works.
The scheme completed in Summer 2024.
